Mid-week football: Aberdare and West End look to bounce back

BOTH Aberdare Town and West End are looking to return to winning ways on Tuesday night after suffering defeats at the weekend.

West End visit Aberaman Park hoping to regain second spot in the table after a 2-0 reverse at home to Bridgend Town on Saturday saw them overtaken by Monmouth Town. A win for the Townhill side would leave them just a point of leaders Taffs Well, with a game in hand.

Aberdare were left empty-handed as Goytre United claimed a rare victory, running out 1-0 winners thanks to Craig Steins’ strike.

Tuesday: Aberdare Town v West End

Friday: Ton Pentre v Taffs Well

The semi-final draw for the Tony Nakonecznyi WWFA Intermediate Cup has been confirmed:

Morriston Olympic will play Johnston on April 2 and Penlan and Goodwick meet a week later on April 9 (both 7:30).
