UEFA-Euro-2013Today marks the start of the UEFA Women’s Under-19 European Championship which will be hosted across South Wales.

Eight international sides, including Wales, compete in two group stages across four venues – Parc Y Scarlets and Stebonheath in Llanelli, Richmond Park in Carmarthen and New Bridge Meadow in Haverfordwest.

Group A: WALES, Denmark, England, France
Group B: Finland, Germany, Norway, Sweden

Entry to all group stage matches is free so why not get along to a game and show your support.

Today’s fixtures:
3pm – Sweden v Finland @ Stebonheath, Wales v Denmark @ Parc Y Scarlets
8pm – England v France @ Richmond Park, Germany v Norway @ Parc Y Scarlets

You can find full information including previews and fixtures on this UEFA micro site – http://www.uefa.com/womensunder19/index.html

I know a lot of work has gone into getting these venues ready, so hopefully this feast of football on our doorstep will be well supported!

Good luck Wales!
